The development and implementation of the portal has been paid for by the MTTC, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Biomedical Research Institute, Boston University, Brandeis University, Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Boston Children's Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard University, Joslin Diabetes Center, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Massachusetts General Hospital, McLean Hospital, Northeastern University, The Schepens Eye Research Institute, and Tufts University.

Summary:		This novel Active Queue Management (AQM) algorithm generates packet drops or marks for the purpose of regulating queue utilization and delay. This algorithm is easy to implement and can be scaled to virtually any network architecture. Its ability to maintain fixed queuing delay for varying network flow loads enables advanced Internet services such as quality of service (QoS), voice over IP (VoIP) and bandwidth-intensive video streaming.
