Title:   Magnetically Controlled Switch or Detector Based on Junctions of Several Wires
Inventor:   Chamon, Claudio
Summary:   The invention is comprised of an arrangement of micrometer or nanometer sized wires that function as either a magnetically controlled switch/field detector or a junction of several wires. The device can be built on the nanometer scale and takes advantage of the sensitive non-linear response of the conductance tensor to a magnetic flux, due to quantum phases and electronic interactions in nanometer scale devices.
