USPN 6,475,179 This invention describes a device and method for ablation of epicardial tissue for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia. The device and method may be more widely applicable to other body tissues, for example, urogenital and abdominal tissues. The device utilizes negative pressure to hold the tissue while folding and pulling up into the ablation device, providing an accurate, relatively noninvasive treatment option.
